What is Relationship Coaching?

Relationship Coaching is different from marriage counselling because it is a proactive approach that looks at why and where you are having problems and creates a programme to resolve them. Relationship Coaching is not about arguing, having a place to be heard or asking me to say who is right or wrong. Relate, marriage counselling and mediation are better suited in those circumstances. My approach requires commitment and engagement to do the necessary work so we can establish the problem, work through to a solution and get you both to a place of fulfilment and harmony. If you would like to know more about my approach to relationship coaching then please visit the Relationship Coaching page here.

What is Online Coaching?

In essence online coaching is no different to seeing me in person in Leamington Spa, though due to the nature of technology certain procedures and adjustments are required. I am happy to use either Zoom, FaceTime or Skype for our online coaching work. Obviously the one requirement we both do need is a strong internet connection. If internet connection is lost and not regained within 5 minutes then I will call you. The second is a quiet environment without interruptions, so no telephones, children, animals, delivery people or work colleagues. Online coaching requires your full attention so as well as no interruptions it is best to set a time when you can give it the focus that it needs so probably not when you’re driving, commuting, about to go to bed etc. With all that said, online therapy does give you greater flexibility to be able to fit it into your day, zero travel time and means that regardless of the geographical distance between us, you can still work with me. Session times and costs are exactly the same as if you were seeing me in person. Payment is required by bank transfer 24 hours prior to the appointment.

How will you help me?

I have been trained as a Quest Cognitive Hypnotherapist and Coach, which is a very different model of working to conventional hypnotherapy. In fact it is easier to understand if you don’t think of it as hypnotherapy but as ‘therapy  or coaching’ as it is a blend of lots of different therapies; Positive Psychology, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Wordweaving and Hypnosis to name a few. It is this blended approach to therapy and coaching that gives me an extensive ‘tool box’ which enables me to create a bespoke solution that is unique to you. I am trained at understanding how you do your problem, how to break it down and how to create the right solution for you.

How many sessions will I need?

This depends purely on the individual and if I am working with you to resolve a particular obstacle or I am guiding you on part of your personal journey. Individual issues can be resolved in only 2-3 sessions where exploring and creating personal development plans can take longer.  The length of time that we will work together and the frequency of those session is something that we will discuss and agree together. I don’t offer packages or discounts, I work purely on a session by session basis. Life can be too unpredictable at times to work to a set number of sessions and therefore I prefer a system that allows for life’s ups and downs that gives you flexibility.

How much is a session?

Each session is 90 minutes and costs £80, payable by cash at the time of the appointment or by bank transfer 24 hours before if we are working online together. I work Monday to Friday from 9am to 6:30pm, 5pm is my last appointment.

Can you work with me?

I work with many people who have a proactive approach to changing their life, who are looking to take the not so easy steps forward and are up for a challenge. There are a few people I am not allowed to work with as I am not permitted to by CNHC and my insurance company. Unfortunately I can not work with you if you have been diagnosed with a mental health condition such as Schizophrenia, Psychosis, Borderline Personality Disorder or Bipolar. Again as per my regulatory body and insurance, all clients must complete an agreement form which includes some medical questions prior to your first appointment before I can work with you. Inline with GDPR all information is treated strictly private and confidential.

Still have a question?

Do you still have a question you would like to ask that I haven’t already answered? If so, then please do get in touch and I’ll be happy to answer it.
